THANKFUL

These past six years I have been on THE ROAD LESS TRAVELED. I hope I have become a better person. I appreciate my husband, children and grandchildren so much more and I know I appreciate life so much more, I savor the beautiful days of spring, summer, fall and winter. I am thankful to be here to see the opening of the buds, the flowers in full bloom, the robin looking for a worm, the changing of the leaves, the first snow of winter - I am a six year BREAST CANCER SURVIVOR. . . . . .God has blessed me in so many ways and I am THANKFUL
In January of 2013 I found a lump in the same breast, after testing, a biopsy showed local recurrence of Triple Negative Breast Cancer. On Feb.27, 2013 I had a mastectomy and currently am having Chemo treatments. I will have my last treatment on Aug.9. God willing I will stay cancer free for many years.
